About Bayanihan

Bayanihan represents the idea of a community coming together. For this magazine, our community came to portray our theme: an introspective exploration of the Filipino diaspora — that being, Filipino perspectives on living away from the homeland, either as immigrants or as the children/descendants of immigrants. Through such introspection we examined the role of migration in the shaping of the Filipino identity, and the continuance of cultural exchange.
